Alex Boye' was born and raised in London, England. He joined the church at the
age of 16. He later served an LDS Mission to England Bristol. Alex sang
regularly on his mission, and from the encouragement of his Mission President,
pursued a career in music when he got home.
Alex became the lead singer in the European Boyband "Awesome", and signed a
recording contract with Universal Records in 1996. The band had hits in over 15
countries, selling over half a million CD's and performed alongside such groups
as N'SYNC, The Backstreet Boys, Missy Elliott, Bryan Adams, Mary. J.Blige, The
smashing Pumpkins, and George Michael to name a few.
Despite the fame, glory and fortune, Alex felt emptiness in his life that none
of these worldly accolades could sufficiently fill. He explains, "I was climbing
the ladder of success but when i got to the top, i found myself leaning on the
wrong side of the wall". in 2000', Alex felt compelled to move to Utah, to
pursue a career in gospel music, and is signed to Deseret Books' Shadow Mountain
Label. Alex has since recieved the 2005 Male Artists Listener Award by the LDS
Booksellers Association for his sared Album entitled 'Testimony', and also
recieved the "2006 Spirit of Heritage Award", for his notable work with the
youth, an honor given to Senator Hatch, NBA star Thurl Bailey and Elizabeth
Smart in previous years. Alex has been nominated this year for three Pearl
awards by the Faith Centered Music Association.
Alex continues to have wonderful experiences in the Arts. In theatre, he has
performed 'Smokey Joes cafe'" at BYU, "Big River" at the Hale Center Theatre,
and played Frederick Douglass in Frank Wildhorn's "The Civil War"
In music, Alex has had music featured in several LDS movie Soundtracks including
Charly, The Dance, Baptist at the Barbecue,Suits on the Loose, and Churchball.
In acting, alex played 'Abinadab' in The successful Lightsone Films production
of 'David and Goliath' which has won a 'Dove Award', and is shown regularly on 'TBN'
channel that has gone out to millions of Christians worldwide.
Alex has found much joy and purpose utilizing his personal experiences in the
entertainment industry to educate and warn the youth through his powerful and
engaging firesides on some of the dangers and perils of today's media and
entertainment, and how they can affect our thoughts personalities, character,
and spirituality.
Alex simply refers to himself as the "Token Black Guy in Utah". He loves to
laugh, and says some of the highlights in his life have been giving a Book of
mormon to Prince Charles, recently joining the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, and
marrying his wonderful wife in the Salt Lake Temple

Lauri’s music and voice are the culmination of a lifelong love for all styles of music, ranging from Christian to pop to country. Her only demand is that her music be refreshing and uplifting. In fact, Carrigan has loved music since she was old enough to sing along, and for almost as long, she’s entertained others with her purity of passion and voice.
Lauri is the recent recipient of the prestigious Best of State award in Utah for Best Individual Vocalist. Carrigan has also been recognized by her industry peers and fellow artists as a four time Pearl Award nominee in the categories: Best New Recording Artist of the Year, Best Inspirational Recorded Song, Best Inspirational Album, and Best Female Recording Artist. Carrigan and her music have been featured on "Good Things Utah" channel 4, "FOX in the morning” channel 13, "2 NEWS" CBS channel 2, "Succeeding Gracefully" and Channel 20, Every Day Lives with Doug Wright, KSL and People of Faith With Carol Mikita, also on KSL. Lauri’s music is regularly featured on local channels FM100, KOSY, OASIS AM 820 and KSL radio, as well as national and international stations. A recent music review wrote "As a songwriter, Carrigan’s tales are thought-provoking, captivating and inspiring. As a singer, her voice is sweet and flawless. When she puts them together, it’s hard to deny Lauri Carrigan has a pure, fresh sound all her own."
Since September 2004 Lauri has released 3 Albums, Safety Of His Arms, A Mothers Heart, and her latest release, A Christmas Wish.
Lauri lives in Salt Lake City, Utah, with her husband and four children. She enjoys waterskiing, family vacations, cheering on the sidelines at her kids’ games, and date nights with her husband.

Cherie Call was born and raised in Mesa, Arizona, and has been
performing in front of appreciative audiences since she was three. By
the time she turned 13, Cherie was writing and performing many of her
own songs.
Following her high school graduation, she moved to Utah to attend Brigham Young University, where she graduated in music in 1997. She began recording several self-released albums, including One Star, Taken, and Heart Made of Wind, the latter released in November 2000. She has also been featured on seven other albums, including the best-selling album Women of Destiny, A Season for Courage, Remember the Promise, Look and Live, Whatever It Takes, and the soundtracks from the theatrical releases God’s Army, Brigham City, and Charly. Cherie was a songwriter and music coordinator for the 2000 Banff Award winning film, True Fans. In October 2001, her first album for Deseret Book, He Gives Flowers to Everyone, was released. The Faith Centered Music Association honored this collection of songs and Cherie Call with four 2002 Pearl Awards including Contemporary Album, Inspirational Song for the title track and Songwriter of the Year. Her sophomore release, The Ocean in Me made its debut in September of 2002. She received two Pearl Awards for this collection of songs. Cherie’s third Deseret Book album, Beneath These Stars, was released on March 22, 2005. Of her performing and composing abilities, fellow singer/songwriter Brett Raymond has said, “Because I appreciate great songwriting, my CD player is filled with music from songwriters like Billy Joel, Carole King, Cherie Call…” Cherie has been a regularly invited performer at Nashville’s famous Blue Bird Café, and in the summer of 2004 she was also a finalist in the prestigious Kerrville New Folk songwriting competition. She regularly travels around the United States speaking and performing. Cherie resides in Utah with her husband, Joe. |
